Safeguarding The Built Environment Since 1983

Asbestos Abatement

We continue to be the leading experts when it comes to asbestos abatement projects.   Our founder, William Gallagher, started this company as an Architectural firm. The EPA created the AHERA program to regulate asbestos in schools in the early 1980’s. Mr. Gallagher became a pioneer in this new field, traveling the country teaching other architects and school districts how to comply with these new Government standards. From there, our environmental consulting division was born. Because we have been consultants for so long, we understand all regulations that impact abatement projects. We do not pick and choose one regulation from one agency to make it “fit” our project; we look at all five agencies that regulate our industry and ensure that we are following the most stringent of standards. When consulting clients would ask us to recommend abatement contractors we simply couldn’t, because we knew that most abatement contractors don’t fully understand all regulations, are not professional, and have had multiple fines.

Our abatement division began in 2004, and was created to be the best, most professional abatement company in the country. As true experts that understand all facets of the industry, we do it better, safer, and more professional than any other contractor. We use state of the art practices and equipment to maintain an edge over our competition; we employ a full-time warehouse manager to ensure all of our equipment is kept running in optimal condition and well organized. Since we are located in Lancaster, PA a lot of our work is performed in and around the area (including York, Harrisburg, Lititz, Hershey, Coatesville, West Chester, Exton, and the Main Line). A lot of our work is performed in and around the area (including York….etc) however, we actually work all over the state of Pennsylvania.

Keeping your home and business safe from asbestos exposure

  1. If you suspect you have asbestos in your home or other building, have it tested or inspected by one of our state licensed asbestos inspectors.
  2. Do not disturb asbestos-containing materials. If asbestos is left alone it typically does not pose any health risks.
  3. Asbestos normally only needs to be removed prior to renovations or if its condition or environment has made it friable, or airborne.
  4. Never try to clean up asbestos yourself unless you have some training, PPE, and a proper HEPA vacuum.
